Rims

Postby LarsBud » Mon Sep 28, 2009 4:28 pm

Well my friend that does all my painting got a set of aftermarket 15” rims for me, only $100 with new rubber. This is going to be a winter project, because we need to strip off the old pealing clear coat. Which is the only thing wrong with them, no deep marks. I’m thinking of painting them in a Gunmetal finish, with a high clear coat. Will see how things look as we get closer to the finish.

Polish them, the gun metal is way over done. What style are they?

Yes, we had talked about just polishing and then clear coating then again. I will have a few months to work on them so I could go that way.

Post pics or the wheels. Or a link to the type of wheel
