Getting rims, need help!
Re: Getting rims, need help!
here is the clearancing i was talking about earlier where the tires rubbed a little.
Re: Getting rims, need help!
did I miss that post?
Re: Getting rims, need help!
With stock height you will not rub with any wheel/tire combo (there are limits of course), hell you could fit 18's in there with the stock suspension.
I have some rubbing when turn hard to the left, but im also running 17 inch wheels (205/40/17) with a 4 inch drop.
That same 4 inch drop does not rub on my stock 14 inch wheels with my 195/60/14 winter tires.

I didn't get to drive. The front wheel would not go on all the way. These are not the wheels I am putting on but will I need spacers for the slipstreams? I think I might be able to get them made at my work. but what size?
10 mm all around with longer bolts?

Re: Getting rims, need help!
thats something you dont want us just guessing at.
measure. go buy a dozen or so 2mm machine washers, and stack them on the studs until you have enough clearance. i wouldnt go too much on the front, because my 7" wheels with a 35mm sits very close to flush with the fender, any more and it will rub i think.

Yeah, anything over 5mm you will want longer studs for. You shouldn't need much though, it wouldn't clear the caliper? That's odd.
