Talked to tech. engineer at work to arrange any spacers if needed.

what tires to get now?

In a 16 with low ride height I would do a 205/40r16. If you are closer to stock or even a 1" drop then you could get away with a 205/45r16. But depending on offset and such might need so rubbin fixed.

I really badly want some matte black staggered fit Fittipaldi rims. That would make my year.

got the wheels today, getting tires put on them. going with 205/45r16
I dont plan to drop more then 1"

I have a feeling I am going to need spacers to clear the front breaks.

here are the full specs on the rims

size 16” X 7.0”
bolt pattern 4 X 100
back spacing 40mm
hub diameter 67.1mm


what size spacer should I go with if I need one? anyone think I will need new lugs too?

Thanks Rabbit. your advice was the same I recived fom Sturgon Tire in Winnipeg, about the tire size for stock height. and after reading a bit more in the forums here I went to home depot and bought a box of half inch washers. not sure how thick they are but I will try to remember to bring my digital calipers home from work to measure the thickness. I still dont have the tires on yet. they were busy so I told them I would come back tommorow because I was busy too!
