i was told i could just pull a tire and measure like 9" (8" for the width of the wheel and another 1/2" on each side for tire) and if its still in the wells it should work... or if i want 7" wheels measure 8"... will i have problems turning with an 8" wide wheel???

next question... what size tire should i run on a 15" wheel so the height is the same as the stock 14" wheel with tire?

you will want a 195/50r15 for the best performance and matched diameter to oem.

im not sure what you are asking/saying with the other part?

what are you trying to figure out?

if you do the math and compare it to what on the car now, you can just measure off your lip..

you dont typically want to add to much to the rear.. as oem sticks in a lot already.

that the stock 5.5?

go with a 7? standard after market size. @ 38mm offset.

8 can fit.. but you'll need to fit individually for offset.

9 can be done with some work.

How does the offset work exactly? i found a set of wheels but they are a 25mm offset.. is that set in or out of the wells?

that is out, and 35 is the lowest offset in a 7" rim you can run in front.

offset is from center. so a wheel with 0 offset always has the mounting surface for the hub in the exact center.

the offset then is + for moving the rim in toward the car, and - for moving it out.

most fwd cars have an offset between +35 and +45mm

a +25 with a 7" rim will work fine in the back depending on ride height and tire size. in an 8" wheel then you will need to roll/pull the 1/4
