Hey guys, anyone done front wheel bearings themselves and not used a repair shop? I need to try to do this myself as funds are a little tight now. I also have to do right side lower ball joint but that looks pretty straightforward. Inspection is coming up at the end of the month and I'm sure it won't pass that way.

I can take some pictures. I have a spare set of low mile spindles sitting here for adaptation purposes without pulling my car spart.

Yeah its my 04 sedan and I have 114K on it. My wifes 07 hatchback with 47K on it is still covered though. Interestingly while I am going thru this with my 04, my wifes 07 was in the dealership for a routine check-up for a slight vibration and noticeable noise on the left side. They had to replace both left and right wheel bearings, left and right steering knuckles, and hubs. I'm glad it was all under warranty. They said it was unusual for bearings to fail this early and the reason they decided to do both sides was jsut to take precautions.
