Can you give us an update on your strut selection and their performance/price value?

Performance struts costs abt $650US for all 4. Another $120US to ship. Its stiffer and meant for use with aftermarket lowering spring. Direct plug and play, custom made for aveo.

so ive been driving around with the kyb struts installed for a while now and i still have a clunking noise up front!!!!! its not my suspension cuz me and my mechanic checked all that the struts were put in the right way and everything else is good. hes stumped on what it is. so i gotta wait for it to get some time and drop it off so he can look into it more.

possibilities are:

ball joints, tierods, rear Control mounts, front control arm mount, upper strut mounts (i think you replaced though), the lower engine mount (dogbone) either of the other engine mounts, and sway bar bushings.

when does the clunk occur? on turns, bumps, etc..

how do the kybs feel?

Change your control arm bushings. More specifically the front control arm bushing. It will set you back about $20 at a local Chevy Dealer. I have replaced both of mine and others have replaced them as well.
