Tires?

Postby Rainbow1616 » Thu Mar 17, 2011 11:53 am

How long did your original tires last you for those of you that bought new?

I have an 09 it has a little over 21k and its time for tires, that sucks.

Also not a lot of choices out there for 185/55/15 is there?

oh, btw. go to a 195/50r15. A LOT MORE CHOICES of tires for a really decent price. And same rolling diameter.

Just checked tire rack for that size and I still only see 3 tires listed once I deselect summer only? I think I will go with the Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S though, Thanks

tirerack limits its selection of "euro" sizes.. (low profile small diameter). But tires-easy, tread depot, sometimes discount tire direct and even ebay carry a wide selection between all of them.. And probably cheaper than tirerack.

ive ordered from all of them.

oh, and sears lists that pilot exalto a/s tire in a 195/50r15 for $4 more a tire than tire rack.
Local and you could use gift cards from giant eagle or something for the fuel perks..
(site says $500 installed= $1 off a gallon, unless they are doubling gift card discounts like they sometimes do, then $2 a gallon).

i myself have $200 summer only tires, and $200 winter only tires, with a second set of rims i bout for $75.
installed it was @ $600 total, (not including my summer wheels) and i get the best of each season, for about the same price.
