Speaker Size??

Well my new car stereo should arrive in the mail any day. So I’m thinking of getting more powerful speakers for the front and back. (The new stereo is 80x4 watts)
So what size are the factory speakers, so I can get a clean fit? Aveo5 2009.

OK I think I found the size myself. The fronts are 5 1/4 and the rear deck are 4x6.

the rear is definitely 4x6, but i think the front is based on if you got the "premium" stereo or not.. do you have 6 speakers?

i don't know the sizes though..

any 6.5 speaker spacer will work or is there a certain one to buy?

Not every 6.5" speakers. I have 5 1/4" and needed 1 1/2" spacers. Get shallow mount speakers.

I put the spacers in my doors for 6.5's and am glad I did. I bought speakers with not alot of magnet depth tho. Sounds much better than the little guys did

I installed my new speakers into my car, 6.5” 130 watt Pioneer Speakers in the front door and 4x6” in the rear hatch.
God the sound is great! I can’t believe the crap that was in there from the factory, really nice work GM!!!
