at idle? the alt is just enough for the car i think. i dont think it puts out enough for all the accessories at idle.

spark plugs are a wear item and will not affect the warranty if i replace with NGKs?

it should not, i thought we had ngk anyhow? or maybe the last engine?

i bought mine used and it currently has delcos.. i want to install the NGK due to personal reference.

Mine came with NGK's, Lithia tried to put Delcos in mine but I insisted NGK's. I got the ones I wanted.

pretty much the coil pack got hot enough to melt and a loss of contact between the plugs and coil which created an arc and could have started a nice fire... sweet right?

Same problem with mine happened at about 13K miles, I got it replaced under warranty along with a couple other things.

have you had that problem since 13K?? did you have to get th oil filters replaced on your camshaft actuator valves?

Mine happened about right at 13K and I got it fixed right away. I'm not sure about the filters...
