Good Quality Cheap H.I.D.'s

Postby WOLFMAN AK907 » Mon Sep 14, 2009 12:57 am

I put these in a while ago. They are 12000K purple HID headlamps from vvme.com. I bought the bi-level hi/lo kit for 72 bucks and they're warrantied for 14 months. Update Oct.3 2009: This company has terrible customer service, so if you end up having a problem with your kit expect to pay out of your own pocket for parts. They're a bunch of jews.

I'm speaking to the warranty dept. of vvme.com right now about my kit. I been having some problems. My passenger side headlight flickered out and won't work and my driver's side bulb has no high-beam. I contacted them and asked them to warranty the kit by just sending me a new set of bulbs. They were quick to respond, about an hour after my first email and said they would like me to ship them back to China with a note saying what I wanted them to do. This doesn't make sense to me because I would have to come out of pocket to ship a defective product I already bought that's under warranty. Hmmm...So I sent a response back requesting a new set of bulbs again and told them I was an Admin. of an automotive forum and have been recommending their products. I also said if I am not satisfied with their customer service and they do not own up personally to the costs of shipping and parts included in their warranty their products would be removed from the forum and dissaproved of by Forum Admins. on several sites. We'll see what happens. This just pissed me off, because this kit is only 6 months old.

Thats funny to hear cause my friend who had also bought a kit for his mazda 3 had one of his bulbs malfunction. They said the same thing to him. Ship us the defective bulb so we can test it then send you a new one. After a few debates with them he finally got a bulb but he practically had to blackmail them with negative feedback and stuff. They suck with backing up their products.

This is the response I got to my previous email. Nice attitude huh? Not exactly what I would call good customer service.

Dear customer,

You know this is our warranty policy ais you can send the broken part back for exchange or just pay us some shipping cost for a new part.
And we hope you can just find a way with your satisfaction.

Thanks

No, there going to just ship me new bulbs. They're saying they want me to cover some of the shipping costs. If it's more than 10 bucks I ain't doing it, I'll just post bad reviews towards their website and company.

Just got another email. They told me I would have to pay 20 dollars towards shipping and they would ship a new pair out. Now shes saying its 20 bucks for 1 bulb only and 20 bucks for shipping also. So, I'm like why should i pay 20 bucks for 1 bulb when a replacement pair on your site is 35? Plus their warranty states this: Warranty: Buyer is responsible for the shipping cost involved. We will replace the item for free. 20 bucks for 1 bulb does not sound free, plus she cant seem to understand why I need 2 bulbs cuz my high beam is out in the other one. These people are f-ing idiots.
