one question.
kinda dumb one but wut do you do with your key then if you have remote start?
do you still need to put it in the ignition?

You start the car with your remote start and then when you get in your put your key in the ignition and turn it to ON, but dont crank. It's a bit of a necessity up here. Thanks for posting this, it will be very useful. Although my 09 may have different wire colors...not sure yet. Plus mines a manual.

i had that one thing that you needed to put a clip thing in it (like a button on the right of the dash) the car would make a loud beeping noise then you ould turn the car on with the key, and if the button was not activated, no starting up, i bitched at the dealership and they removed it

talk about an annoying device

I bet the wire harness is different between the 2006 and 09. The radio harness between the 08 and 09 were in my radio install.
I was told that you would need a few extra goodies for the 09's like an ignition bypass, because our car keys are chipped.
