04-06 Aveo Fog Lights

My aveo didnt come with fog lights. So i was wonderin can i stall OEM fog lights in my 05 aveo anyway? even though it didnt come with it? I like how the fog lights fit the aveo

Yeah, you could just wire them to a rocker or toggle switch. That's what rabbit did on his 09LS that didn't come with fogs. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3#p3

oh ok thanks....stupid question but i no what a toggle switch is but whats a rocker? and i can get a toggle switch at the nearby auto parts store right?

There are no stupid questions, just stupid answers. That switch in rabbits picture is a rocker switch. It's a switch without that long toggle sticking out for you to break off with your knee.

At the store right next to the toggle switches. I think you can even buy them in the automotive section at walmart next to the fog lights and replacement headlight bulbs.

i knew what a toggle switch was didnt say i knew where to buy one either.. and ok thanks man gota post pics when i get money hopefully sometime this week ill get to order the lights

i dont know your but you might need to order an additional bracket or two on each side.
some car even have the wiring hanging there, but that is unlikely since mine was not.

i got a relayed wire kit for $20 at pepboys, and then bought a separate switch that went with the stock look better.
so the install was $25 bucks, and my actual factory fogs from china were another $65 ish shipped. so for less than $100 you can hardly tell they were not put there from the factory.

note though, be sure you make your own ground, i tried to use the ground hub thing and it kept blowing fuses and turning my wipers on

cool might need to go check pepboys then.... hopefully sometime this week ill be able to order the lights. next week wiring. need to get oil changed aswell.

rabbit what does the relay wire kit bring?
and does the oem fog lights bring the socket the bulbs attach too for power?
