Aveo 0 to 60 spec
Ok I know the Aveo isn't a race car. But just out of pure curiosity I wanted to see what the 0-60 spec was on my 2009....I can't find it anywhere. Anyone know it?

Re: Aveo 0 to 60 spec
i would say 11.4, somewhere in the 11 second range, i know the 1/4 for the 2009 aveo hatch is 17.9 and the sedan is 18.1 (in a car magazine)

lol i get a kick out of all the car reviews from these critics that are so biased, they would rate a honda above a lambo
just buy any car review magazine to see what i mean

Re: Aveo 0 to 60 spec
I actually did a drag race once, one of those "bring what you brung" events, I did it just to see what it looks like on a straight away. I got to drag 10 times down the track and...
I lost the stats haha...
I got 1 really sick (probably luck) launch time of .06!
I vaguely remember the average top speed of all 10 runs was about 78-86 mph, somewhere in between there, and the time was 17.5-18.9 secs or so.

Re: Aveo 0 to 60 spec
yeah the average speed i have seen is around 76 with your minor upgrades of course
high 16's would not be out of the question, i wonder what xaiogogry has gotten in terms of times from his aveo
its kind of funny when you see those times, there are some sports cars that run the mid 15's, the aveo really aint that far off
i ran my aveo from a stop for 0-60 times one day and i got
11.2
11.4
11.3
11.7
11.4
12.3
11.4
(timed on my iphone, i really made them as accurate as possible)
its good to say a 0-60 time would be about 11.2-11.4
i only ran one 1/4 and got like 17.8 at 77mph of something like that

Re: Aveo 0 to 60 spec
Well with my 2.0 i average around 8-9 secs 0 to 60, it depends on traction at launch.
I did a few 1/4 mile runs and it was in the high 16's, between 16.5 ans 16.9. It gets really slugish over 60 mph or when i shift in 3rd, its most likely due to my 1.6 exhaust beeing too restrictive for the bigger engine to perform at high rpm, it has alot of low end torque tho, thats why my 0 to 60 is real good.
Im anxious to see the 0 to 60 and 1/4 times when i open up the exhaust.
