Now for the stuff that I am not sure about...

KYB struts, $200 for the set

Front strut bar
Rear strut bar
AEM cold air intake
Car Alarm
Full buff of car to get it looking new again
All other stuff that I forgot

Im am buying another engine in September, where I will worry about all the other engine parts that will have to be made

I do not know what else I should buy first

there is a guy on craigslist in miami who has stock aveo tires for $34 each (about) i think you are near there now?

also the 240 for springs and 200 for struts.. wait till spring, i will have a coilover solution for about that. maybe a little more..(thinking under $600 for the entire package)


also dont waste $50 on seat covers.

yup, the one is messed up i think, sanding it out is another option as it is messed up on the edge, but I will just slap another one on there and use the rim and best tire as a spare

miami is like 4-5 hours away though the stock aveo rims are 14" right? tires would be too small, ill just slap another set of kuhmos or toyos on there

I want to build the 1.6 from the ground up, and take my time with it, that next engine is really my first real expericence with an engine, I figure it is the best way for me to learn, and build a nice NA 1.6 at the same time

if you gonna build an engine at least make a bullet proof one so that you can drop a turbo in there
and reach high hp

I wouldn't do another 1.6. If you're gonna get a spare motor anyways, I'd just get a 2.0 like Nemasys' and build that up. Run your 1.6 in your aveo until it dies and then swap it out...it'll feel like a new car and probably get you another 10 years or so out of it.

2.0 with an overbore should be capable of almost 2.1.. (more like 2.03 then 2.05)

but yeah, if you buy an engine. start with the 2.0, then build that up. the displacement alone will increase hp potential by what ever percent more 2.0 is that 1.6
