09 Aveo5 Gauges Faces

Just letting you guys know I've contacted BlackCatCustom about designing a custom gauge face for the 09' Aveo5. I remember someone bringing this up before, but I'm about to order some for my friends Cobalt and thought I'd give em' a try. Their gauges are sick and you can customize them to your tastes. I'll keep you guys posted on what he replies back to me with. I am thinking this will have to be similair to a group buy situation, but you know how those go.

Great news guys,
BlackCatCustom has agreed to make a custom gauge face for the 09' Aveo5 for a group order of 5 or more. Who's interested? Here's the email they sent me:
Hi Michael,
Thank you for your inquiry. We would be happy to work with you on making a gauge face for the 09 Aveo5. From the pictures you sent it looks like it will be doable, however, we would need to purchase a spare gauge cluster to use as a template for the layout and confirm the details of the gauge face itself. Our minimum number of orders we would need to cover development and design costs would be 5. Let me know if you think there would be enough interest to meet the minimum with possibly a group buy.
Let me know what you think and we can go from there.

plus an idea of style.

I dont think i am interested really. but maybe for carbon fiber and silver that turn to a white face soft indeglo at night?

Yep, I'm still speaking to him awaiting his next reply. As far as I can tell they design a certain style and then you are able to choose your combination ie: Gauge face color, carbon fiber, line color, lighting color, custom lettering ans such. Ok, here's the latest update. Black Cat Custom is now in the process of purchasing an Aveo cluster and producing custom gauge faces. Here's what they wrote:

Hi Michael,
Great, what we will need to do first is to get a spare gauge cluster. Give us a few of weeks so we can get the cluster, take a closer look at it, see what we can do and will then work out pricing for you to post. Standard face colors would be white, black or silver. We will have to take a look at the cluster to determine which lighting colors we can offer. We already have the 04 - 06 cluster and layout.
I will email you with all the details in a few weeks. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please let me know.

Good news, BlackCatCustom has ordered the Aveo gauge cluster and should have it to start working on by this weekend. I can't wait to see what they come up with.

are they making anything for the 1st gen or are they making them for the 2nd gen only? I like the ones I bought, but I just dont like the GM style

When I spoke to him he said he had to order the 2nd Gen cluster, but that he already had a 1st Gen cluster on hand I think. We'll just have to wait and see, it would be nice.

Alrighty guys, fantastic news...The gauge faces and led kits are done. I got confirmation from Black Cat Custom today. They now have several options to truly make yours 1 of a kind. Also available in KMH speedos. Looks like it finally paid off, here goes guys:
