I guess if I can't find one I'll order a plain white one and tape and paint it the way I want and clear coat it several times. I wonder if that would work...

Flagged Shift Knobs?
Since we're on the topic anyways...I've seen a bunch of shift knobs with flags of countries on them online. I'm looking for one with a Greek flag. Anyone know a company that makes custom knobs like this? Thanks, Mike.

Although, I'm now considering an "Indy-Cator" knob w/LCD gear display on top.

I think I'll just order a cheap white one and make sure it'll work and then tape it off and spray certain sections blue and then clear it.

Re: Flagged Shift Knobs?
I contacted this guy online that sells custom stainless shift knobs in bead-blasted, polished and brushed. He does custom engraving on them so I've emailed him to see what the price would be on a brushed knob with the outline of a greek flag engraved on it that says GREECE below it. Just waiting to see what he replies back.

Re: Flagged Shift Knobs?
Well, I spoke to him...the price is definitely steep, but his knobs are really quality custom pieces. If I get a brushed stainless Evo knob, to allow for the reverse-lockout and get everything I want engraved it's $170 shipped. Like I said, it's expensive but where else are you gonna find something like this? I think I'm gonna go ahead and order it in a week or so. The only thing I need to figure out is how I'm gonna mount it...I think I'll have to break out my tap and die set and thread my shifter, so the knob will just screw on.

Re: Flagged Shift Knobs?
couldnt you just buy a "standard" brushed aluminum shift knob that is blank, and have it etched at things remembered? I remember a guy doing that to put the "porsche" back onto his aluminum porsche handles after the buffing job took the letter off...
at least it would save you money.
