Fog Lights.. Projectors or OEM?

So I've been debating quite awhile now and still am not sure what I should get for fog lights.

These: (Projectors)

See the only thing is I would really like to have a glass lens with a metal housing like the projectors have and retro fit them in the fog cutouts... I would obviously do a clean flush job. The reason for the metal housing and glass lens is because I want to go with 50-55w HIDs in them to get a really good intense light output for the really stormy days. Plus the projectors are like more than half the cost of going OEM.

Would love to know of a good rated seller to get some H3 55w HIDs too... 6000k-8000k... for around $65ish.

Well, the headlights have a plastic lense and HID's don't seem to be having any effect on the integrity of the lense. I would just go factory. You don't need a glass lense for HID's.

well it all depends on your taste.
I have factory fog lights on mine and planing on adding HIDs to it when i get money

I just wasn't sure how 55w HIDs would throw for heat... I'm running 35w HIDs in my OEM head lights and they run cool, just never used the 55w ones. I was just more concerned about heat because the fogs are smaller.

They should be fine, but your stock fogs are not an H3 they are an 800 series bulb. Just FYI.

Yep. I just bought a set of Nokya 881's for my fogs. Cant wait to see them running in synch with the headlights...been snowing ALOT lately, and I dont want to crawl underneath to change em

I was retro-fitting H3 HIDs into my 09 fogs last night, got almost done and went to put in the second bulb and shattered it. I'm waiting for a new pair now. I was pissed, but I have to figure out how to get the dimmer panel off to mount my switch anyways.

i bought some projectors similar too those bright as hell!!! and usd them as fogs. also added hid 8000k light kit. but if u go stock and do the hid, it will still look nice
