They're a pretty cool bunch of guys. It's a different style of mods over there though...a lot of bolt-on stuff. I'm more into hand-made one-off stuff, because it's completely custom. Not to say I wouldn't buy certain parts if they were offered, I think we all would. RDY gets a lot of business from them.

wolf, what kind of bulbs does the aveo gauges use, i installed the new faces, but you can still see green from the light of the needles, i want maybe purple or blue if possible. I think there is like 6-8 of them too

Well your's is a 1G, so it takes 194 wedge style bulbs. You should need 5 per cluster I think, because you have the 2 round gauges. So, 10 bulbs total...plus bulbs for your HVAC if you were to change those. Go LED, did you peel your original faces off before putting your new ones on?

yeah, they are in the trash, how many would i need for the HVAC? do you have to scrape off any green film on the HVAC too?

The 1st gen aveo all have little green caps on the dash and hvac bulbs. Just remove the caps for a more white-yellowish light.

might do that if i have a few spare hours in the nect few weeks, two of the needles are sticking a bit when i turn on my car so i have to take it apart again anyways

i decided to take summer courses since my hours at WD got cut big time, but i have a check for coming in at the end of may, but mainly the money is too live of off until fall, or if i find another job. I think i am going to buy a couple of autometer gauges and install them and finish all of the little projects with the car, then work on a CAI and an oil catch can (found a bit of oil in the intake last week)

I might look into some ultra racing bars, or get an alarm and window tinted too

what bulbs should i get for the backup lights and license plate light?

i found the led bulbs to use, the blue 14 ones, for 15 it comes out to $20
