debadge?

any suggestions, i want to debadge the gm logo on the front fenders and the aveo logo on my hatch. how do i safely remove without damaging the paint? thanx

the gm squares on the fenders i suggest using a plastic body filler spreader, lay it flat and slide it under the emblem to remove it, be careful though..

the rear bowtie has holes under it, but you could take it off the same way.

you can also use dental floss to cut through the glue/tape, but you will need to clean the rest of the adhesive off..

I've always used the heat gun and dental floss method. Both work. It's nice if you can get all the adhesive to stay on the badge, because then if you ever want to re-badge it you can just heat it back up and stick it. If you take the letters off that say "AVEO LS or LT" put some painter's tape over the letters, so that when you pull them off it keeps the correct spacing. Then just use rubbing alcohol to remove the rest of the adhesive on the car and quickly clean it with windex or something.
