just did my tail lights with my friends last night and took off the LT.
The pasenger side didn't come out that well cuz I forgot to wash it and I leaned on it when it was wet. lol
We had to stipp it of and redo it. We might add another cout to the driver side to make it look even.

I might move the aveo5 on the pasenger side. What do you guys think?

fwiw, when you do them you should take them off set them side by side and positioned so you can paint the whole taillight, and both at the same time. this way you paint it like 1 big object and get the most even match between the two.

looks good though.

Wow...yeah, get some paint thinner and strip that shit off. Start over. Once you get all the paint off, wet sand your whole taillight with 2000grit sandpaper and just a little dab of dish soap and sand until they are hazy and foggy looking all over. Clean with paint thinner, and then whipe again with another rag as paint thinner leaves a coat behind it. When you spray the VHT, use long continuous motions, don't stop spraying in the center of the light and start again. I always go around the edges first and then spray the centers in long sweeping motions. Go with really light coats, really light. You only have to wait like 5 minutes between coats. I usually only do 2 coats, 3 is like the max. After that, wait 10 minutes and start shooting clear. I do 3 coats. After the clear dries, if you see any imperfections or small runs, you can wet sand them again now with 2000grit and then buff them out either by hand or with a machine buffer. I do mine by hand. Use a microfiber compound applicator so you don't scratch them up. I'm doing mine this weekend if you want to see what they should look like.

if it dosen't come out right tonight I'll do it over on the week end.
As you can see I'm not good at working on body work. I'm better at mechnics.

Thanks for the how to.

It was easy like the head lights. When you open the hatch there is 2 black screws on the edge of the light. Take it out and push down on the tail light and it will pop off very easily.
