The Oopening in the reflector will have to be enlarged to accomidate the round bulb too.... Look at the photos in the DYI to see what I mean.

Ok, my fogs and chrome rings came in today. My camera is dead, so you'll have to bear with me. I test fitted the 3000K HID bulb in the foglight housing and...it fits perfectly! Sit's perfectly flush with all the right tab cutouts and everything. Now, we will need to modify the HIDs wiring just a bit here. The rubber grommet fits the hole but not tightly, so I'm thinking I will cut the grommet off, pull the blue and black wires out of there as they do not need to be there. Now, the part we will have to get creative with is the 2 plugs on the HID itself. I think they are just a hot and ground trigger from the ballast, so I'm thinking if you snip those shorter, and put some female spade connectors on those wires you could plug them into the factory cap for a perfect seal and a factory look. Then just clip the recieving plugs the originals would've gone into and put an H3 plug in their place to plug into the factory cap. I think it'll work. I'll peel away the wire coating to see if that's indeed what they are before I hack the harness up. I borrowed one of your photos HiTecRednec as my camera has dead batteries.

Make sure you post pictures of them after you get them installed. I want to see if I should go 3000k or 4300-5000k. Thanks wolfman.

Did you ask the dealer how much will it cost if they do it?
I want to try it look like it came with the car.

Hey I'm new to the forum. Just picked up a 10 aveo5 LS. I was wondering if all the wiring for the fog lights are there or do I have to run new wires
