rallye motors
this Q is mainly for ontarian_frog
rallye motors (hyundai) in moncton has a couple of used aveos for sale....
http://www.rallyemotors.ca
theres a beige 04 with a 5spd for $7400 w/ 29k on it.....im thinkin about that one instead of buying a new 07....
any thoughts on that dealership? they any good? good quality cars?
it seems as though the aveo should still have the balance of the 3yr/60k warranty (would expire in nov of this year) and has 5yr 100k powertrain to nov 09....
for $7400 though, im thinkin its worth it....i can pay it off quicker, its lightly used, im sure, and if its paid off, i can mod it quicker.....;)
ideas?

Rallye Motors has a pretty good name here, they sell a lot of used vehicules. I personally never heard anything bad about them. They were quick to serve my gf and I when we wento look at the cars there. I'll go take a look at the Aveo for you this afternoon.

thanks man!
i was talking with Edgar Bourgeois via email....
im pretty sure its base base base....which really isnt a problem for me
and it DOES have the comprehensive till nov 2007 and powertrain to nov 2009
i appriciate you taking a look for me.....if youre not busy, that is

get the 07 man. i would much rather buy one of these cars new. just my 2 cents
-
new vs used w/ 29000kms = $ 11500 (at the lowest (i think) w/ +freight and minus my discounts) vs 7500 - - (both + 14% tax)
i think i can handle saving at least $4500 by getting a mildly used one....
(i do realize that the borrowing rates would be different, etc, but im just trying to illustrate a point)
-
used is fine, since with that extra money you can do all kinds of things to your Avewoo.
-
problem is....theres also a 04 focus zx3 for 8500 w/ 60000kms and an 02 focus zx3 w/ 70000kms for 6900.....
-
Humm, I didn't have time to talk to someone there today, I went for a look and didn't see the Aveo, but I saw the focus (dunno which one)
Nothing good in Fred?
-
meh...i dont mind looking or driving around for a good deal
there was a black focus and a silver focus
i really would like the silver one....03/04's have a very high reliability
i just know my gf is gonna say the aveo w/ lower kms will be a better choice...as it is lower kms and still has SOME bumper to bumper warranty left...

well, my mind is made up
come june, ill be inheriting/using the aveo my gf bought for her mom last february
its an 05 white aveo sedan w/ an auto
sure, its boring, but my gf and i just bought a house....so im willing to sacrifice my fun car for an aveo for a few years....
