The car is lowered and tweaked. It is a blast to race. It should stay on the ground in 07. It liked to pickup it's wheels in the big corners. I actually had 1 wheel on the ground in 1 event.
what do our cars tend to do at the limit? slide, or roll over?

PS: rolling over the car in a high speed corners is my bigest fear
Its more fun to drive a slow car fast, rather than drive a fast car slow!

      Hey there,
Actually after installing the H&R lowering springs the car is very stable. As you can see in the pics all 4 tires are on the ground and I am turning very hard. Last year with stock springs it was very top heavy and I would have from 1-3 tires in the air but it did not go over
It is my opinion this is a very underrated car. Now if I could just get some performance struts and shocks for it.....

there is a thread somewhere about someone putting KYB rear shocks on their car and has pics and all, either in the how-to or supspension section

Ya shocks but no struts and that is really what the car needs.

Rhyno, SWEEEEEET pics...you really throw the Aveo around well.

You ought to get in touch with fab and raven with your brace ideas.

(I did the how to about the rear shocks) you want the KYB 343423 shocks, that's all KYB offers for now. I bought them from http://www.performancecenter.com they guys there were great. Price was $26.81@

      Good luck

I just finished off customizing and installing front and rear braces. Man , what an improvment.
I started with a brace kit for the front from a 92 Acura and fabbed the transistion brackets. The rear is from a Cavalier with fabbed mounts. The trick is the front brace has to pull the towers together and the reae has to push apart. My test track is unique- I use a clover leaf. No traffic and you can push as hard as you like. So far 105 kph at the bottom of the ramp in 3rd gear and almsot 120kph when I hit the next ramp. Now if I could just find a left hand off ramp
