A friend broke the tip of my aux cord and it is now stuck in the jack.Chevy said they could only get it out by taking out the radio which is $100 an hour. Are there any good tricks or tips to get it out?

try a vacuum
Ive tried using dental like equipment which really didint help me the way it was lodged in.Its all the way in the back.
Just take the radio out and shake it upside down...
the tip is at the very bottom of the aux port.
that's what i was going to say, that's all chevy would've probably done, i have an 11 hatch, i switched my radio with an aftermarket one, i could see if there is another way, but what year is your aveo? radios might be different and i don't want to misinform you.
