cut it??? and than what lol welild it back together ?
I just cut the shifter down. Made for a really nice look with that steel ball . Also I do have the splash guard installed. But im going to get a bypass for added measure.
The sticker I found while I was In texas, I just had to get it lol.
By cut I mean I removed the ball. Measured down to were I felt confertable and used a grinder to just cut the shaft. Of course you need to remove the shaft from the car to prevent a fire
So I took my car to the body shop to get a quote on the roof and hood. The roof has some hail damage and some minor dents and scratches from my pit junping on top of my car. And the hood had minor hail damage. He quoted me a little ocer $6000 :O I was like wtf. He said the hood had to be replaced and the roof needed a lot of work. Today its going somewhere else for a quote. He was trying to get one over on me lol.
When I get home in 2 weeks im going to attempt to shape my fenders. Need to add a little fiberglass to the section at the lower part of the door. They dont quiet line up right. Also have to shave the top of the front as it doesnt quiet line up with the hood. And not sure how but it doesnt quiet line up with the headlight. Not sire whether to just smooth it out and add some strip lighting in the gap. Or add some fiberglass. Any ideas?? Not sure whether to build it up with everglass or just use fibermatting or bondo. Need some ideas please and what you would prefer and why. Thanks to all for viewing my ride. Lowering it in 2 weeks with kyb struts and hnr springs. Then to get the roof and hood fixed.
