Your head gasket looks just like the head gasket on my 2.0l 16v (c20xe opel motor).

It looks like you have a leak between cylinder 2 and 3, I would just send the head to an engineering shop and have them skim the head provided it did not warp too bad.

Do you not get a piggy back ecu system? Over here we have what we call "chips", they can be tuned to increase fueling and even read the boost and correct the fueling.
      Thanks!

Yea i'm pretty sure it's a sealing problem as well, I will only know after i get the head resurfaced, there is a shop right here in town that can do it.

I have a Megasquirt that runs in piggyback fuel only mode.

My car blew a gasket between 3 and 4, for no reason, I suspect a cheap gasket. Im not turbo'd though. but im hoping now with the new gasket it will run 100% again.

Vehicle Fine-Tune | Car Performance Chips | Unichip Home is what we use over here, it does wonders.

How did you swap the engine?
Did you buy a new one and if so how much did it cost?

God it sucks around here, mother nature is not cooperating with me.

Working a 40 hour/week night shift means i can only work on the car friday afternoons and saturdays, and i don't have the luxury of having a garage so it's out in the sun in my backyard lol

Last week it rained all weekend long, and it's looking to be the same this weekend, hope it changes.

I need to get the head back off the car to get it resurfaced, and im also doing a valve leak test first just in case.

      --------------------------------

Here's a funny side story tho.

I went to the dealership last week to order a new EGR valve gasket (the little gasket that goes between the head and that piece where the coolant temp, egr valve and coil pack are attached to)

So i was expecting to pay well under 10 bux for a small gasket like that... Low and behold the dealer says $112.50, NO it's not a typo, it's not twelve dollars and fifty cents... ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS and fifty cents!!! GOOD GOD what is wrong with you people i replied to the sales person.

So i got out of there like i was chasing the storm of the century, went back home and logged on rockauto.com

The EXACT SAME damn gasket was there, at $1.82 a piece.. ONE DOLLAR.. canadian currency to top it off...

So i bought 2 hahah... the moral? Don't buy at the dealer unless you absolutely must!

      Have a good day!

      Finally some good news!!

This morning i received the clutch i bought from Garrett (gse_turbo) on Daewootech.

      It's a 4 puck carbon-kevlar disc with a 1500 lbs pressure plate.

At 1st when i picked up the disc i touched the kevlar pads on it, it feels very soft and gentle to the touch, as if you are touching a piece of clothing, i thought how the hell can this thing grip if its that slippery?

So i put it on the pressure plate, pushed down on it a bit and tried to turn the clutch to make it slip on the pressure plate...

My toughts about grip went flying out the window, that thing grips like hell it's crazy! I can't wait to try it on the car!

      On to pics:
