Thats a good idea, and I've done that before with other vehicles. But, I find myself not wanting to remove the exhaust on the Aveo. The salty Wisconsin winter roads have taken its toll on the exhaust and its pretty well fused together. The nuts to take it apart aren't all that hexagonal anymore. I could cut it, but I'd rather not have to weld it back together if possible. If I can't get it out the top I'll have to go out the bottom. But, I would imagine that the opening is large enough to get it out. Perhaps I'll need to unbolt the battery tray and the other things attached to it... We'll see.
