      Yeah, I wanna get this done and running very soon. I have other projects that need my attention. Some Aveo related, some not.

      It will slow down soon for a bit as I'll have to wait for parts soon. I'm still trying to decide on going 2.0L or rebuild... Still pricing out both options. I suppose I should wait until the motors all apart to make decisions though.

      well you can probably find a 2.0 Forenza engine in the junkyard that still works. Thats if your going with a 2.0 build.

      I've checked the local salvage yards. There are none in my area that have the engine unfortunately.

      By the way, if anyone wants any pictures or measurements of anything just ask. Its not too often that you have a torn apart engine to take pics and measure stuff.

      I myself would like to do a rebuild on the 1.6. Like add new cams and pistons. Seems you need a lot of parts for a engine swap. And sucks that there aren't any junkyard with that engine.
