I'm not sure about that. According to Nemasys, the Suzuki engine swap wasn't worth it for the power gain. Here's what he said in the "Enlisting engine-drop knowledge thread, you can read the whole thread here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=27853

By far the easiest swap is the 2.0 from the Forenza.

It will drop right using your stock motor mounts and your 1.6's manual transmission....

...In my opinion its not worth it for the power increase, getting a salvaged 1.6 to replace yours is MUCH MUCH easier and if you simply slap a set of headers with a custom 2 inch exhaust and a nice air intake, you will have more power then a stock 2.0 and its going to cost way less.

And I think that if you would spend close to 4K on the forenza swap with all the little things and hassle/labor, with only gaining maybe 40-50 HP, (I think that motor is only 140+ HP or so), you could spend 8K and have a Cobalt SS engine dropped in by Jason on here (the same guy who built the original green monster) and have almost 300 HP... IMO that's worth it....

swapping the aveo engine does not make money sense, turbo the 1.6 and run 6-7 psi, just watch the tranny if you have a manual

we all are waiting for the 1.5

building a custom turbo setup is too much work to be left only running 6-7 psi
