i think it would look better without the hubcaps :P get some chrome lug nuts and roll with steelies :P thats what i do and it looks so good
you might also wanna put a layer or two more of that film on ur headlights where the eyelids are cuz the light shines through :(
nice HIDs tho!!! i like the eyelid look :)

I must say thats a freaking steal in getting HIDs for 30 including shipping. Those eyelids look really nice too but its true what the other person said about them in putting it darker because you can see the light going through them but it just an opinion and I like a lot the black painted grill. ;)

do you get flashed all the time with them installed? do you have a lot of glare or did you adjust them to help oncoming traffic.. i installed a set of 6000k hids and am getting flashed a bit.

Adjust them right, and you should be fine. The cutoff in my 09 is awesome.

h3llfir3: I'm taking your advice, I'm ordering myself some chrome lugnuts, I'm also painting my stock rims black to look a lot nicer, and then ditching the caps. I never wanted to paint my headlights, I just didn't know else to do it.

oh by the way just get the chrome lug nuts from like firestone or something like that. thats where i got mine :) i dunno if u guys have firestone in the US tho.
one more thing that a lot of people do is debadge the front grille so its just mesh and no chevy sign. it looks really good, maybe give it a try, you can always just put the chevy sign back on if u dont like it :)

So 8000k is bright enough? I was thinking of getting 10000k single bulb.

the "k" rating is not about brightness, its about color.

HOW DO YOU ADJUST hid's? With high beams on? And how far should they go? Ok my HHR lights go 50' out.??

sticking the bulbs in the oem lights "should" be adjusted just like oem, its the housings that determine beam pattern.
but this is where the controversy starts..

On my aveo I have the lights facing 25' from the car but when driving my HHR I can see further so i checked to see how far the light beam goes and its well over 50'. so Im going to sdjust my Aveo lights to at least 50'.

thats the projected "color" of the hids, most visible is between 6k and 8k 8k being more blue..
