Aveo 2.0L Cold Startup Video! >Now on Youtube<
Got my new cellphone and wanted to test out video quality so i made this short clip.
Cold startup of my 2.0 Aveo after its been sitting all day
Near the end the video and sound dont match i dunno why, its fine when i watch it on my cell and my pc, the file conversion process photobucket makes probly is the culprit. Anyways you still get the idea.
Enjoy!

I re-uploaded the video on youtube, the sound is now in sync with the video:

Re: Aveo 2.0L Cold Startup VIDEO!
bad ass. now get a ripping video.
Re: Aveo 2.0L Cold Startup VIDEO!
Damn dude that thing is a beast! How did you achieve such a low rumble exhaust sound?
Re: Aveo 2.0L Cold Startup VIDEO!
My exhaust is my 1.6 exhaust completely stock, i even have the 1.6 manifold cat.
The only thing i did to it to make it sound like that is remove the rear muffler and put a straight pipe in its place with a high quality twin tip.
Re: Aveo 2.0L Cold Startup VIDEO!
awesome, take the white of the hood and you will have the sickest aveo
Re: Aveo 2.0L Cold Startup VIDEO!
Thats cool. And I love the stripe. I'm leaning towards a very similar stripe.
Very cool.

The white? The hood is all red, i dont know what your talking about heh. If your talking about the bug deflector, its silver, getting painted flat black soon
Re: Aveo 2.0L Cold Startup VIDEO!
Sounds great!
So with the muffler gone you have had no issues with your E-tests?
Everything passes?
So replaced muffler with straight pipe and a twin tip, mmm. Me like!!

A muffler will have 0 effect on an emissions test. The only test it would fail would be a visual or sound inspection. Here in NB if you have a muffler in an area, it must be there when going for an inspection.

Re: Aveo 2.0L Cold Startup Video! >Now on Youtube<
the car is sick, no doubt....how come you didn't pop the hood?...I would like to see your handy work...
Re: Aveo 2.0L Cold Startup Video! >Now on Youtube<
Im not gonna pop the hood till my crank seals are fixed, which is suposed to be this Friday, cause its hella oily under there, then i need to do some cosmetic work on the engine. Its a scrapyard engine so its been sitting outside and rust has gotten on some parts, i need to sand the rust off and paint it.
Then theres also my cold air made out of aluminium dryer hose haha, its a temporary fix to relocate the filter outside, does the job for now.
If you wanna see the engine in the car you can check my build thread out, on page 5 you can see the pics with the engine mounted.
