I don't think he had drive by wire in the first place. Starting in 2006 was the drive by wire included. 04-05 was drive by cable.

If you arent going to reconnect the valve cover to the intake, you might want to plug up the line for it on the intake.

Its already plugged from the inside you cant see it from the outside

Since you are using the 2.0 computer, there is no DBW anymore. You will need a throttle cable though.

The 1st gen of these cars used drive by cable, there is no drive by wire, personally i hate it. Im not even sure if the 2.0 ever got DBW

That is correct, again tho i dont know if the 2.0's ever got the DBW system. The engine is an 04 and the ECU is from an 05

Id like to turbo it, but its not going to be until next spring at the least, cant do this during winter its no fun, good thing is i have like 6-7 months to get some money for all the parts im gonna need, so dont be surprised to see it turboed by next summer. Its too late now to start such a project, summer is almost over and its going to start getting cold soon.

yeah my first thing is to fix dents and dings for some new paint, then do about 1k or so more in the body, then work on the sound system, and finally turbo next summer when i aint got no class, or when school starts as i will recieve a very fat check from school (i got a 3200 one this sesmester, a 3000 one next sesmester and 6000+ for the next fall

i was alos talking to someone at disney a couple of nights ago and hes in cars big

hes got a 240 running 9.50's and an intregra shell

hes knows of a few shops whom could put in the turbo, and other parts at a good price

one of the best "unadvertised" shops for custom turbo installs on the east coast is in pittsburgh.

pittsburgh, i went there one time to visit my stepbrother who was going to art school there, i dont like it much up there, or up north for that matter

ima stay in tampa or head down to the miami area when i gradurate

there are a lot more car orientated things up there though
