wat kind of material is in the interior?
i like the rims
The shaved handles in the rear are a nice idea. I guess with the system he has, the rear doors aren't really needed
The fabric was found at Hancocks, a fabric store. It has been discontinued, and has been in the car for over a year. I have just enough left on the bolt to replace panels.
I drive this car daily, and travel at least 200 miles a day for work! That is why we shaved the door handles, b/c the back seat was removed. It is covered just like the front seats, so that if I ever get tired of the subs, they can be put back. I have scuff plates that I just got in from Singapore, that are brushed aluminum with the aveo logo that lights up under plexi in the center. I am also currently searching for another motor so that we can rebuild it from the ground up, then swap into the car.
I compete, and am a USACi member. It should be at Heatwave in Austin, Texas this year for anyone who is in the area!
i saw this aveo on a site like slickcar.com or sumtin. nicely done.
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.
Thanks for the props. Has been a long 4 years, started when I drove it off the dealership lot in 04 and straight to the shop!!
hey, what kind of pain did you use to detail your dash area? and where can i get some?
The paint I used was PPG Highway Yellow with violet pearl in the paint and clear. When we painted the car, we also painted the interior pieces the same way, after much sanding. It holds up pretty well. Any automotive paint store should have some, and any bodyshop can paint them, unless you have a booth.
