idk, it should be the same as 08s, or you can always hard wire it in

no its not the same as the 08 i tried that. n i don't know if hard wiring it is a good idea caz i don't want to void my warranty. will it?

it will void it, but that if they find out

It will not void your warranty. If you have a fire and it was caused by you hard wiring the stereo, it will void it. Read up on the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

I also have an 09' Aveo Hatch, it is not the same as the 08'. You have to buy the adapter to bypass your OnStar system, it has to be able to interupt your aftermarket stereo in the case of an emergency. I believe yours should have OnStar correct? Most the 09's have a "Safe And Sound" plan lol. I don't know how much they cost, but mine was like almost 200 dollars, but I also live in Alaska lol.
