Oh, do you mean the incline lever? I did that, but they only go so far..maybe like 45 degrees at most...is there a way to get them to go further?

Are you talking about the front seat headrests?

Yes, well..and I believe I'd eventually like to remove rear seat ones too...but for now...I want to remove the front.

Are you sure you want to do that? I'm not sure how kindly your insurance company would take to it. The headrests are not just there to look pretty, they are there to prevent serious neck injury in a collision.

Now I know lots of older cars don't have them, but if you got into an accident and seriously injured your neck, your insurance company could refuse to cover you because you removed them from a car that originally did have them.

If got in an accident, it'd be because someone hit me. Ill do some research on the topic...but I don't believe unless research overhwlmingly advices against it that I won't not remove them. However, you do bring up a very valid point. So between research and thinking about it...I don't know what decision I will make...that and, I still haven't been able to figure out how to do it.

Recline the seats back to see if you can remove them that way. I know for a fact the you can remove the rear ones easily, all you have to do is release the rear seat, tilt forward until you have enough room to remove the headrests.

I am of the same opinion as photonut13 though. You are risking, not just insurance money, but people's lives and serious injuries without the headrests.
