better daytime photos of the grey 06 hatch with gram lights
i took some at night as soon as i got the wheels on, but these are some daytime photos. I went on a 5 person race down i-83 last night and the tires took the performance to a whole new level. I was able to control the vehicle at 90-100 whereas before it felt like the car would break if i pushed it to that. we also took some twisty roads at 60 when normally i could only do 40. The smoothness of the ride is amazing.

lol what were other people drving in that race?
Re: better daytime photos of the grey 06 hatch with gram lights
1 person had a mustang gt, another had a souped up honda crx, the others were just tagging along: a jeep cherokee with a cold air intake, and an acura integra
the mustang gt and the honda crx were the clear leaders.... they could stay at 100 and then push beyond with plenty of reserve...... my exhaust is stock, and until i mod it i can't keep up with that.

I like it, nice job and a clean look.
Re: better daytime photos of the grey 06 hatch with gram lights
r u serious?!?!? u think by upgrading ur exhaust u'll keep up with a V8 mustang GT?? top speed in an aveo is around 110mph while the mustang will just keep going and leave u in his dust. i bought this car for the gas mileage not for its horsepower, plus there really isnt a following in the aftermarket for the aveo so anything u do is a one off piece, hopefully soon we'll get better parts but for now we dont have much.
Re: better daytime photos of the grey 06 hatch with gram lights
xdmitrix as nice looking as your aveo is, and i really like those rims, looks like you got leaves to do!! start crackin mc cracken!! by the way where are you from?
Re: better daytime photos of the grey 06 hatch with gram lights
im in maryland, 10 mins north of baltimore. friday nights we usually hit 83-north and go up about an hour's worth and then back down.... great fun since noone is on the road. my friend who owns the CRX is trying to meet up with a group of 40 people who do acura integras in lancaster PA, if we meet up with them we might have a 50 person meetup.
i wasn't serious about beating a mustang, most of the people in the group have 4 cylinder cars, so im more often trying to compare my car to the honda crx. HOWEVER, the aveo is on par when you're doing 40-60 on windy small roads. Maryland is great for that because you have really nicely maintained roads that go through farmlands, etc.
nychev: i'm too busy tinkering with my car to do leaves!
btw, this is totally unrelated, but this is the best $15 i ever spent, these lightbulbs are BRIGHT...search on ebay for "Xenon HID Light Bulbs Chevy Aveo"
