Got the same caralrhough mine didn't have fog lights any help on where n how I can get some installed? N I looooooove the lip. Which lip is bet fit that's been an ultimate project I been wanting to do with my arnsince I've seen no aveos lately almost at all with a lip.
The lip is one he trimmed and modified from a Honda Fit I believe.
o cool. thats give me alot of confimation that honda fit lips are more likley to fit when u modifiy it a bit. me and my husband wanted this alot more than other things n we were just doing alot of research on which could be close to fit since they dnt make them for our cars. thanks alot though. we were looking towards the honda fits lips. =D>
I almost think a 2010 Suzuki SX4 lip might fit better?.....
i think it would look nicer without the mudflaps. also how much for that front lip?

where did you get that camera mount?
I got the camera mount at Home Depot. that is to say i got what i needed at home depot. I got 10$ 3/4 bar aluminum tubing. Cut it 1/3 and drilled holes for the bolts and viola. If I had a spare tripod Id go ahead and take the top camera mounting off that so I can then tilt and pan the camera easier, however Im too lazy to go about doing that and just tild the passenger seat forward when filming.Quote:

That camera mount looks like it would be an impaling hazard in case of a side crash though. Final destination style... you could at least put a tennis ball at the end, for peace of mind - since it won't make things any better in case of crash.

Really Id say just make it yourself. ran me about 12$ in total and about 15 minutes of work. I just got the bar from Home Depot, measured out a decent length to cut it with a hacksaw and drilled the 5 holes.Quote:

I placed 3rd in the Domestic clas for show and shine and didnt place in my SPL class. I might have had something not gone awry with my system. In testing i was hitting just under 129db, but come show time I could only muster a mid 126 doing everything the same, i figure my equipment just got too hot.

Got my car on a track yesterday, good times. All in all it was pretty capable particularly through the turns, but needs more power for exiting and on the straights. I had some good runs with MK2/3 Golfs and a Jetta. I might have been a bit more quicker had i removed my stereo system from the hatch but I was too lazy and it helps to balance out the car. Also I preferred to have a better idea on how my car handles in my daily setup.

Nah, since everyone I was with was lapping noone was ther to video exterior shots. However there were event photographers Im hoping werent too snobby and took pictures of me. Since I was the only domestic and probably least powerful vehicle there.Quote:

I visited a track again this past weekend and took some more incar video.
My fastest lap from the day was 1 :21 and change. Fastest of the day for everyone was a high 1:10 by my buddy in his RX8 on coil overs, nice tires, big brakes, and partially gutted interior. I just removed the back seat and put in some racing brake fluid.
Some highlights include chasing down and catching up to a guy in a brand new STI who had a maybe 20 second lead on me. Blowing peoples minds for running pretty competitively with other more suitable cars while Running completely stock engine(sans intake resinator), cut OEM springs, and tires from Wal Mart. Also running a faster time than a guy with a brand new 2011 GT-R. Also when that GTR driver tried to show boat infront of pitlane and spun into the tire wall missing the concrete by inches.

Competing closely with Golfs either means you're a great driver or they suck. From what I've experienced with the Aveo at stock height and several of the Golf, Jettas and other VW's both stock and lowered.
A good looking car though man! Giving me a few ideas for the girl's Aveo.
