I've been curious myself about EV conversions and researched the idea from time to time. Your conversion is really very amazing and seems way ahead of all the other earlier conversions that regular people have done. Great job!

Lithium iron phosphate battery - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia More about LiFePO4 batteries. OK, don't shoot me for using Lipo, slang for Lithium-ion polymer battery - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia batteries. I can see how the LiFePO4 batteries can tolerate abuse a lot better than plain lipos.
I am personally like the idea of a small high speed turbo powered generator using capacitive storage technology with an electric motor.
Please do not power off, firmware update pending.....
LOL... Some say the cycle of Lithium batteries are 3000 + (so they say at least)... LOL... but, with this Aveo, I didn't want EVER change the battery bank... so in the beginning, I wanted a capacitor bank.. which would give me a theoretical lifespan of 8319 years (3 million cycles).. LOL... without EVER getting weak...
I've contacted a company in OK to quote the price on the capacitor bank (which would be equivalent of a 200AH - 144V bank. (170V capacitor's connected in parallel for more farads (AH) LOL..
it turned out it would cost more than 400 thousand dollars and quite big... so that didn't turned out good.
There is a company called Maxwell, which makes super caps... but it's really expensive.
the closest I've gotten to make a cap bank was connecting batteries to capacitors and running them in parallel.. which gave me a great acceleration and virtually eliminated the voltage sag.
