Finally MK II RSK up front, MK I Raceland out back. Three inches of clearance from the crossmember up front. No bottoming issues, but rear wheel comes off the ground on big curbs! Rides decent, not bouncy like using MK II all the way around. Still thinking about switching to the MK I up front with a little spindle work.... Interior is almost finished too. Purple and gold, I am in LSU country after all. Two seats, with a storage bed and rockford gear in it, pics later.

      About my setup...

I did not, what I did is bought the RSK's first, then when I blew the MK II rears, I bought a set of the Raceland MK I. I only changed the rears not the fronts... yet. They do not sell them in sets of two, although if you hang around VWVortex, you can sometimes find fronts or rears.

Thanks. I'm still testing the setup in everyday driving, and so far no scraping or rubbing...

Here are some more pictures from around the inside of it. Quite a bit of work has gone into this car. Actually, this is the third complete rebuild of this aveo. She's my daily now, back door handles shaved, doors sealed shut. Rear seats removed, and a bed built in the back. Since I am a Microsoft Systems Engineer, I use this to haul all my gear around to different job sites. I plan on taking and posting better pictures after I clean the interior... LOL!

Yours looks good. my mk2 fronts still have lots of room to go down, not sure taking another 8mm out of the spindle is worth going to mk1 coils. Although it would make it nicer for those guys to only buy one set of struts...

As for the mk1 coils. you can sometimes find people who sell replacement parts for coils, BUT if you buy a set of mk1 coilovers, the fronts are good for people who have rabbit trucks. So if you can pair up with someone, or sell them to a vw rabbit truck owner, you can still got out of them what they cost you.
