Its a pipe bomb, ruuuun!Quote:

nope, no need. its a true conversion. the design of the car seems to like it.Quote:

nice job....
what type of suspension you put?
VERY NICE CAR RABBIT.
are those adjustable suspension. i heard those go for almost 4000 . 1000 for one coilover
very nice rims thought i love how the gold compliments the yellow already.
so where did you get your intake and that sensor thing that goes into the middle of it. i never seen that before really.
how low can you get with an aveo with regular 16 or 17 inch rims witout scraping and how can u avoid that if you go little lower than 2 inches. i heard 2 was your max without scraping
well prices for coil overs are all over the place, the coil overs go pretty damn low and still ride nice, all coil over answers are here:
http://www.aveonetwork.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=563
as far as rim size questions, thats the beauty of coilovers, you are not at a predetermined height, so if you go from 15" rims to a new set of 17" rims its just a 5 minute adjustment while the wheels are off to raise it a little to accommodate the wheel size difference. but unlike the sport spring you can also get as low as possible until you rub, then go up a hair so you dont.. 2" was how high i was off the ground, not how low from stock i was.
the sensor on the intake is the 09 design maf sensor. the intake i made out of a honda accord intake.
ahhh. alot of tire shops tell me that i cant have 16-17''
and lowering it will cause scraping and such. idk. but thanks for that advice i really want to drop my aveo as low as i can get it but be a daily everyday driving functional....im also aware that i drive around with my own car for a living thats y i have the aveo. i used to have a dodge nitro.
i daily drive mine, and i am sure our roads are worse than yours. Its not hard driving a lowered car, with less side wall. you just have to learn potholes, and how to avoid them.
my aveo, even as low as it is, is as high as any of my other daily drivers.
so what exactly did you do to get it as low as it is in the pics on the first page. cuz i would like to do the same to mine.
I think the answer you're looking for is in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=27834&p=76349Quote:

anyhow the first post picture is h&r springs with one cut coil. if you are willing to pay $250 for something and then cut it up. go for it. rode good, help up for the 23k they were on my car, and sent them to another member for more miles...
but i fine tuned my wheel gaps with coilovers.
you had a 1.5 year head start... Plus getting HonodaRob... I mean AveoRob off this site was, in big part, the 10 posts you made in that honda fit thread... 8)Quote:

i am amazed how the original paint is faded, the layer of clear makes the car look like new.. gonna need a buff detail..
That looks great!
=D> yea it does!!
looks clean debadged.
VERY nice!!
up.. to the top.
Sweet bumper. Looks way better debadged
I'm really digging the way the headlights look. I don't like the look of my stock headlights.

Hey petrified....when you did the Joey mod. You just took the orange reflector out, right? I mean....the bulb is already there for turn signal...on another thread someone said I needed to buy 194 amber bulbs and I can't understand why. What bulb would I be removing to put that one in? I'm hoping to eliminate that step all together.
