Sorry guys, haven't been on the computer other than to do work..

I don't have much updates. As the school year took a turn to student projects, and we are working on finishing a skid steer by the end of the year, as the aveo sits. It is reassembled in the front, waiting for the flares to be installed. It is mostly welded in the rear. Drivers side is completely done, the filler relocation has taken up some time, as well as fixing/filling the passenger quarter panel.

I don't even have too many pictures, not sure the car will get done this school year. Was waiting for everything to be ready to attach the flares, then was going to buy the wheels and tires for final fit before attaching them, but that is an extra $2000 for wheels I don't quite have right not (working on it). So it looks like it ill be waiting for fall. I am debating on if i bring it home for summer if i will really work on it or not...

As for the PM messages about the coil over kits it will work on that as the school year slows. I have been swamped with evaluations, and finishing senior projects with the students because they can't be put off. Students always comes first.

Checking in to see if you are doing well. The summer is almost over and hopefully it's been a good one for you.
Please do not power off, firmware update pending.....

I have been on hiatus for the summer, but will be getting back into the swing of things. Was working 2 jobs with no computer access. Returned to school this week though, so that mean returning to the project, as well as spending time on the computer.

All is well otherwise. Stocking up on some parts and money to finish the car. Will have pictures and such going up again soon. I will have more limited time here though, as my teaching assignment has become more demanding in the paperwork this year.

I am going to be producing some parts again to fund my project. So be prepared for that.. I spent some of the summer building a limited run of rear disk brake conversion parts. So I will be putting that to the test first, as I finish the rest of the bodywork.

No work computer access? No can process.

Good to hear you're getting back at it though. I was thinking about this project a couple of days ago.

Interested to hear about the kits as well.

Yeah, I'm surprised at the number of posts, not going to try to catch up.

Unwrapped the car today, inventory what still needs done. It looks like a lot, but it is not as much as it looks.
Will be starting on it soon, I will start with the photos and such again soon.

This will be my last post in this thread, which is pretty much dead anyhow.
My next post about my aveo will be the completion pictures, probably around valentine's day.. ?

Brought my class up to par, started working on the aveo once again.

Just getting into final sanding, a little (very little) more welding.
I took it for a spin in the parking lot, driving it for the first time in 15 months..

Here is how it sits today, can you spot the differences from stock?
