Kalos (Bodykit, 18s, lowered and leather)
Hey. I'm new to this, but I would like to show you my Kalos, I have recently bought it with the bodykit installed from the factory. I have lovered it with 50/30 AP-springs, and fitted a set of OZ Ultraleggera 7X18 with 215/35-18 tyres. They fit perfectly and doesn't scrape anywhere. It is the first lowered Kalos/Aveo i have seen with 18's..

That is one of the nicest aveos I've seen. I wish mine had that body kit and that front end.

Everything is doable for the right price, William. Just make sure that if you do get the lights like that, you get the "left hand drive" headlights, since they're set up the right way as to illuminate the right side of the road more (hence, the shoulder). And if you get the "right hand drive" ones, they will blind the oncoming traffic... At least that's the way I got it when I looked into getting some of those.

Re: Kalos (Bodykit, 18s and lowered)

But that means baking them... seems like too much work to just flip that piece. Might as well "joey mod" them while you're at it (not that it really needs it, they're already blacked out, unless you're matching to the color of the car "Honda Fit" style). Maybe even retro-fit a projector in there too. 8)

Re: Kalos (Bodykit, 18s and lowered)
yes in the case of the lanos headlights it is not worth it, but in some other sets (rarer) the price difference can be up to $500. that savings is worth the 2 hours work.

Re: Kalos (Bodykit, 18s and lowered)
Thank you very very much for the nice words. I am also very happy with the car.
The car is a 2004..
You should be able to get the lights in the USA, in Denmark this is the only front you could buy, I have never seen your lights before with the seperate light underneath the headlight.

Re: Kalos (Bodykit, 18s and lowered)
From your gallery link just found out it's 1.4 8 valve... Did you get a chance to test-drive 1.6?

you can tell its a 2004 right off the bat with the amber turn signals on the sides, it was the only year they were that color, all other years used clear ones
well and assuming that one didnt swap them themselves :)

In Denmark we don't have a 1,6 :) We had a 1,2 and 1,4 8 valve and after 2005 we only have a 1,4 16v.

Re: Kalos (Bodykit, 18s and lowered)
I have just updated the original post with pictures of the new leather interior with seats in two tones and leather on the doors.
I think it looks really good, the interior is custom made in the USA, and shipped to Denmark. I have taken of the old upholstery and mounted the new. It was a big job, took around 15 hours with seats and doorcards, but the result is very good!

Re: Kalos (Bodykit, 18s, lowered and leather)
Looks nice. Where did you have the upholstery done and how much did it run you? Could you post a link? Also, did they sew it properly so the side airbags would still pop in the crash?

Re: Kalos (Bodykit, 18s, lowered and leather)
I bought the interior at ebay.

You can see all details there :)
The interior is made by a company called Roadwire
