mine seem to be doing good so far, i didnt even care to look at the back of the lights, they went into the aveo as they came out of the box, aveo might buy them if you sell them though

I like your car I only wish mine looked that good I like Kalos better than Aveo but Chevrolet wouldn't name it because they thought the name sounded stupid and no one would buy it. Good luck and hopefully you will have many great years with it.

you would be surprised how much research goes into names of cars. but the names still sound stupid.

they typically cross reference the name between common spoken language meanings and slangs in a given country. But in the US there is a wide range of languages used, so the names tend to be slightly different than the rest of the world. but they also dispute of common market shared names, like 1990 swift gti needed to become just gt, becuase vw "owned" gti..

I think Kalos would have done fine, because afterall, if you do a little research you'll find that it means beautiful in Greek. Aveo on the other hand.....means nothing, lol, or so I have found.

Speaking of stupid car names.....I'm in the medical field and it BUGS THE **** OUT OF ME when I see a Sonoma (cant remember the maker of the truck)....why the hell would you want to purchase a vehicle that translates to "Sound Tumor".... I cringe everytime I see one and go on a little rant. My boyfriend thinks its hilarious.

Then you should go with Barina. I think Holden sounds better than Chevrolet anyways... And I like their logo better.

The sonoma is made by GMC it is the twin of the Chevrolet S10 Both are the same inside and out now they are called the Canyon and Colorado.
