Hey! So here is the new ride!
2016 Kia Rio5 6 speed Manual
This will be another build car and I have lots of plans for it!! I have been recently sponsored by Evilla Motorsports and they have sent me the Rio Chassis Set (Strut Bar, Torsion Bar, Rear Brace Bar).... So far waiting to be installed I have;
H&R 2" Drop Lowering Springs ( Coils are not available yet, my sponsor does have them in production though and once ready I will be swapping out to a coilover setup )
Evilla Motorsports Chassis Set
K Emblems
HID Conversion kit
Exterior LED Bulb Conversion
Interior LED Bulb Conversion
Complete MTX Audio Setup with a Sony Touch Screen Head Unit
An in floor Subwoofer and Amplifier Build for the Hatch area
The installs will take place once the weather gets a little nicer, unfortunately I had to drive the Rio this winter but this will be it's only one it see's! Below are some photos the day I picked her up as well as a vision photo of what I plan to accomplish!
Let me know your thoughts guys!
Minus the hood scoop though ;P
In my opinion, I would get rid of the hood scoop too. Also on door post mounted mirrors... go smaller not bigger with the turn indicator. I'm not sure where that body kit came from or if those body lines are exaggerated in that picture, but it looks pretty good.
Thanks for your input rabbit! My mirrors didn't come with turn indicators, not sure if I will swap to them or not. This is just a render I found on the internet that is similar of what I want to build... mine won't actually have a body/lip kit just chin lip splitter and side lip extensions. I am in talks for sponsorships with cipher auto for seats and fast wheels for wheels, hopefully those come through and I can get things moving on this build!!
Its a nice looking car, can't wait to see it once you add all the parts you got for it.
Sounds good sflindall, we'll be waiting...
its a sweet looking car indeed! i bet its got one of the lowest drag ratios for any Aveo i've seen. what a beauty lookin' car. id drive that across the countryside any day. it looks like 2" spacers in the rear?? or is it that the rims are so wide that they 'do the offset'? your gauge panel install i think is a great touch.. and the choice of going with one accent color - nice ride, would be fun to take to Shannonville for a rip. and you know whats neat is that these show cars filter down ideas to folks like me who are inspired and impressed with what one can do to any stock car. seriously this ride to me looks just as great as any high end sedan. better, in fact. looking forward to seeing pics of your next project!
