Re: my 04 and 09 aveos

Both are manuals. I usually get 30-35 mpg with the silver one depending on traffic but I have gotten 40 mpg with it when I keep it under 60 and in fifth gear. I haven't calculated the milage on the 09 yet because I try not to bring it to the Bronx since I park on the street. No mods except the lowering and wheels on the 09. The 04 has a better stereo and an armrest I built and upholstered since they didn't put one in the 04. I didn't want to mod them too much because I drive so much I need them to stay relaible.

Does the 04 have original clutch?

Still on the original clutch somehow since the first 75k were all city miles but the throwout bearing has been whining for about 90k. The clutch still feels strong though.

Besides 04 (hopefully) being more responsive since it's cable, not drive by wire...

the new aveo itself is more "refined" to a level than the 04 is, but i doubt they are any different in any major way
