U r better off buying the H&R or Eibachs to drop your car. If u must, only cut off 1 coil.
-
thanks guys :)
i tried to buy the H&R but i didn't found it and there's only APEX but it's so expensive in my country and rare too
so my only way right now is cutting off my stock
BTW is this right for rims and tires (215/45R16) ??
-
I would go with a 195or 205 width on the tire. I had 205/40/16s and loved them. See which size u can get a better deal on. If the car is a daily driver or cruiser try to save a little for other modifications.
-
-
it's a daily use and some times i go off roads so i should choose the tires right because the 205/40 may make pops on sides due too the bad roads in my country and there's one of my friends has aveo with 215/45r16 ... i'll ask many dealers when i buy the rims and tires because i'm confused
-
thanks man :)
if any one want to say any idea .. be my guest :)

Hey looks awesome! Once you lower it and have your rims installed you wont believe how much it changes the looK!! I lowered mine on the H&R springs but I will be going with a coilover set up because I want more low :) !!!!! If you want a little more pep you can upgrade your exhaust, plugs and wires to performance ones. Go with a Short Ram Intake or Cold Air Intake. Keep looking around the forum and get a feel for what other people are doing that where most of us get our ideas from! Keep it up!!

thanx dude :)
check the photo in last reply on mine u will see a short ram intake and i self-modified it and put a felxi. pipe on front of the grill to give the filter some freakin' cold air and this idea made the filter has two intakes :D (the stock one and my custom one ;) )
and for now i'm confused about rims 16" or 17" and the way to low my car (cut the stock [cheap way] or buy the APEX or H&R springs [ they are too expensive and rare in my country] )
and i was keen on this forum before i buy AVEO and i loved all of cars here
god bless you and bless your cars :)
have a view of my friends cars ;)
we are in alexandria.Egypt ;)

Those are some nice aveos! Personally I would go with 16" rims with 205/45/16 rubber, but thats just my opinion. As for the springs you can always cut your stock ones and save up for the proper drop springs. I dont think I would cut more than one coil though, its going to be a pretty rough ride after that.
I really like the hood style on the first and third aveo, did they mod the hood themselves or have it done professionally? And is that a jetta lip on the first aveo?!?! What type of lip is on the second aveo?? (I am referring to the cars in the attached thumbnails)
Sorry for all the questions, just wondering because my next mods are going to be a lip kit and coilovers and badge-less grille!
-
thanx for ur opinion about rims, tires and springs :)
about the hood mod. they done it professionally..about the lip kits i dont know what type of lips for now but the sec. one is cooler than the first in my opinion it gives a JDM look
that's a pleasure man ! don't be sorry :)
and hope you good looking in ur next mods :)

hey guys..
i'll go with eibachs for lowering my car soon :D i found a dealer with a low price it will lower it about 3.5 Cm.
what do you think of my chose ??
-
eibach and h&r are both solid choices.
-
i'll go with Eibch next week but i'll install it the next month because of my exams .. and thanks for all replies :toothy8:

I like the sticker-bomb fenders. There are some cool Aveo's in Alexandria. I live in Thailand, and the roads are narrow and not perfect like in the USA. I imagine that in Egypt it's similar to here. I even drive down some dirt roads...daily! (really slowly) What I am saying is that...lower your car????? I wouldn't. Just get some wheels and tires lol. The aveo is a great handling car with the stock suspension.

Nice Aveo's Shady! Keep up the great work!
