yeah a lot more aggressive looking for 2009. nice little car , small changes to the engine for 09 as well, 3rd gen ecotec now,

believe me when you come from getting about 380 km per 65 litre tank in the ford this is a big improvement
hell my car gets better gas mileage then the 09 and probably has more hp too. and if i remember correctly an 06 gets 24 around town/34 on the highway and im pretty sure its the same for the 09

epa window stick says 34 city 49 highway , though im sure its prob less then that. im sure they all get good gas mileage, just wanted to say hi to everyone and hope to get some tips off the forum :)

some body needs to give audi their grill back...atleast you know there wont be cooling problems with the rad.....its more aggressive looking but too much...they had it right the first time with the kalos...god dammit the parts are already designed
seems to be a love hate thing for people... i like it (obviously or wouldnt have bought it)
my thoughts are it looks like a mini toyota matrix. at least they got ECOtecs now. hopefully the aftermarket will pick up for them.
i still love the new body design. i think its agressive looking.

I have an 09' Hatch here in Alaska, mine has the 1.6L 16V Ecotec and the dealer told me the new aveo is rated at 126hp and 37 mpg highway. I don't know how you're getting that good of milage out of yours, what's your secret? Then again, i have a hard time keeping my foot out of it lol.Quote:

Really? My tires still have the bubbles on them like they come from the factory. The wheels don't have even a scratch on them. I have 10,080 miles on my '07. But I don't spin the tires either bc I dont have money to replace them :lol:
my original tires lasted me 4000 miles (well they were bald at 3600).
i am now on my 3rd set of tires at 13000 miles. this is the first set NOT oem, so they are lasting.
