Made sides out of poplar wood and top out of wood that would bend easily. glued and tacked it all together with nail gun then centered it pre drilled through hood and then screwed it with wood screws. I like the look . Eventually ill bondo over the wood and sand better to make my seams disappear.

Yeah I can see your point however my goal was to turn an aveo into a head turner . Anyone can buy a sports car and expect to turn heads how many people actually do a double take when an aveo passes? Now I have all my exterior mods done that I want I think an engine swap could be in the near future after I get my moneys worth from stock or buy turbo for it. I would rather be guilty of making slow car look fast then buying a v6 Mustang or charger or camaro. Just my opinion though. If I wouldve made it fast first everyone wldve said its fast but it looks like an aveo so I wanted to go for looks first.

Yeah it is high up wanted it to be really noticeable from side profile. I plan on getting chevy logo on the sides or some design but I wanna bondo it first and finish sanding it smoother. I just painted it so it looked decent until I have more time. Milk crate prolly not gonna happen lol although I did use my spoiler to strap a roll of carpet on my car at lowes for a buddy it was quite humerous.

You dont need ridiculous exterior mods to turn heads bro, all you need is a sexy drop on nice shoes. I turned heads with only that even way before I did the whole turbo thing, after it was boosted then I got too much attention lol... No one, and I mean no one walking on the street expects to see an Aveo when they hear a blow off valve go off, I've seen people stop in their tracks just to watch me do it again. The single and only time I took it to the track while it was boosted, after a few runs I had like 15-20 people around my engine bay... crazy, still the car was bone stock on the exterior, except for an approximate 4 inch drop and 17 inch wheels.

There's a completely stock white hatchback where my girlfriend works with 17's on, must be the car of another co-worker of hers since it's often there, i'll see if I can snap a pic with my phone. If that car even had an H&R drop, it would be quite nice to look at.

idk... like when u see a jdm civic it looks dumb. but atleast those parts are plastic, fiber glass, and made for the car.. wood side skirts... a bowing 747 wing for a spoiler, a massive hoodscoop with no blower just a 1.6L 16valve... like everyones said... cai for sound, exhaust out the back, 1.5" drop, 16" rims....big head turner
