Ok, got my Aveo earlier this week. I needed a car with good gas milage for the commute back and forth to work. The damn suv you see in the background is one of the big reasons I bought an Aveo. The HEMI is a killer on gas, and I've been putting way too many miles on my wife's car. I actually wanted a 5 door, but I found this one at a local dealer and couldn't pass it up.
She's a '04 with 40k miles on it and the car looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Even though it's just for the commute, I of course can't just leave it alone. Thanks to the great info on here, I have disabled the DRLs, dumped the bowtie off of the grill, tinted the windows 20% all around and of course had to replace those beautiful 14" wheels and hubcaps. :D Not bad for the first week. AEM CAI is on the way and I've got a lot more planned....
