The new Aveo on town!!!

Hi My name is Ed I'm located in N. Carolina but actually I'm was born in Puerto Rico..... I used do all kind of works to Honda from lower to vynil application and then after that I got my hand into a 04 Aveo and the first thing that came to my mind is "DAMN" :shock: this car is looks like 4x4 so I decide to start doing something the first thing I did was get online and try to get some parts ...... but when the only thing that came for an aveo was springs I said WHHAATTT???? :cry: No that can't be and no money on hand I had to do something, I found a red can of spray from my last car so spray interior accesories to start ( sorry pic coming soon ) and then I look the exterior and paint the signal lights. Then I said I need fog ligths $50???? WHHAATT??? Got mine lights for $20 at Wal-Mart... Later looking tru my storage saw black and red transparent vynil and said "hey this can be worth it" so I took off the headlights, taillights, and rear little window and I wrapped and gave that unique look.. Once I finished said "Damn" is looking good ( front view of the car ) Undecided said "Grill off" ...Now good!!!!! Next low the car *Remember* NO MONEY custom cut spring front- back coming soon well so far I spent $2.50+ $20+ $10 hey not bad it equals to $32-$35 But we do what we can do....right??? Does N-ebody know where you can find that Kalos or either Aveo front lip?? Just the front lip in the U.S.? I've looking tru the forums but can't see going nowhere... :cry: Iffffff somebody know either a info or some....can you reply me back???

looks like he removed the black vinyl that the factory puts on.

That's vynil rigth there I though that could look a little different than the rest. So is still under construction at the moment. Thanks. Next thing I'm gonna do is illuminate the interior...all red..

Cuttin Springs??? Old trick. Heard negative about the possible side effects.

1 - How does it ride? How do you like the ride?

2 - How much did it lower?

3 - How much did you cut off?

4 - Did you just take a grinder to it?

I'm telling there some side effect ... well it bounce but not like a basketball ...lol. I might do the back this weekend. Might. Well I cut 2 lines and believe taking those curves at 60mph uffff is fun.... I can't wait to do the back as well. I slam the car b-cuz let me tell you 1. You feel the difference 2. You look good riding it 3. and 4 the envy people that said "can't do nothing to the Aveo" Well I keep upgrading the car and every time I do something people get amaze especially the Aveo's owner...they get curious and ask me how did I or where did I get the stuff for the car? I tell them I do it my self, and so far I've been getting good clients by the way. I want to finish getting the front lip, then the custom side skirts, and a surprise on the rear bumper you'll see the result. I'm trying to finish so I can go on a tour with my AVEO!!! :lol:

I forgot to tell you there's 3 way to get it lower 1. old one you heard about it cut the springs, which I did (under budget) 2.heating the spring and compresed and 3. got money get the H&R springs. Is up to you whatever your choice make sure you get a picture and show me. :mrgreen:

spend the 200 bux 4 the springs. u will have a much better result.

i completely agree with mike...cheaping out on important parts almost always leads to having to spend more money in the end

That's why I'm saving for next summer I might do something crazy with the car. But for now keep it like that and chill what do you think?

your car looks good, especially for being a budget car with work done on a tight budget (like me and most everyone else here). but remember, if your going to do sumtin to ur car, do it right.

it will be finished with the proper parts and it will come good so keep on contact.

how do you install the fog lights? was it easy? how much were they and whered you get em?

Psss Don't tell nobody! I bought it from Wal-mart and installed yellow vynil. $20.99.lol I took off those cover and make a custom fit and it works for me I mean. You tell me about it.

What are the ground effect lip pieces from? They look like theyre from a corolla. Please let me know because they look real nice.

It all happen when I was going to make a turn 2 lane gave me pass while I was looking at the last one it took me for surprise..uffff I was pissed mmm still...the girl I believe that was speeding or somethin...but got my wife's side and my baby. Lucky they only got scratch but as soon that day was over I went to the place were they took the car and I couldn't believe it .....THE ENGINE WAS ON THE FLOOR!!! :shock: And I'm still waiting for the insurance to give me a response.. well there you go. I APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT AND WHATEVER IT COMES LATER WE'LL LOOK FORWARD.

Oh Yeah!- The lip came out of the Corolla .... There's only 1 left I'll keep it in my as a memory of what happen, and that I can make the car look good even under budget. HEY look it the bright side>? :P Thanks.

sounds like the car did its job, glad everyone was ok. I know it sucks to lose a car, but it sucks more to lose people.

thank god everyone was ok!! cars are replaceable, people are not!
